Walk In Heaven

The walk in closet is when you can stand back and choose clothes for the day without getting swallowed up by a ton of shirts, pants, skirt and blouses. Large walk-in closet is a dream for many people.Your walk in closet is a reflection of your style and taste, but must be the most functional storage room in your home.A good Walk-in closet system must have enough space for: Shoes,Clothes,Drawers,Shelvings….. Creating and organizing a walk-in closet is easier nowadays with many stores carrying pre-built closet organizers. But you must know what you want and what you need before you go and buy one.The first step to closet organization is to sort through what is causing your clutter in the first place.With the clothes you keep around even though you don’t use them are actually preventing the items you do use from being more accessible.The best rule is to get rif of the items ,you haven’t used in the past two years.

Now its time to organize…Sort items into similar categories,such as shirts and blouses,full length clothing,hats,belts,heavy sweaters,slacks and pants,pijamas and other accessories.Decide which ones needs to be hung up on racks and what can be folded and stored in the drawers.This will give you a basic idea for what kind of storage you need in your closet. You can add islands and benches in a walk-in closet. This will create a feeling of being in a dressing room. You add mirrors and lighting so that you can see yourself from all conceivable anglesIf you have a limited floor space and lots of shoes,vertical storage is a good way to go. This could be in a corner of the walk-in closet where you add shoe racks all the way to the top and a line of mirrors near the floor like those in a shoe store. Some lights placed in the right spots will give you a nice shoe-fitting corner in your walk-in closet. And Finally for the top shelf’s ;my favorite is the storage boxes.Now take a walk through these cabinets….
